All I can do is stop trying to run the world and ask God to do something. I can run most of my life on my own, but when it comes to this situation, all I can do is pray.

There are times in life when all we can do is pray. This was the case for my wife and me when our son, Paul who lives far away, became very ill.
Although he was getting medical care, his condition continued to worsen. My wife and I felt helpless due to the distance, but we soon realized that all we could do was pray, and it was more than enough. If you recall, they asked Jesus to teach them to pray (Matthew ; Luke ).
